P&S Peer Advisory Committee
The purpose of this committee is to provide a confidential means for an employee to obtain perspective and advice about employment concerns from peers familiar with the policies, practices, and procedures of the university. The committee also seeks to ensure that an employee is aware of his/her rights and obligations and is cognizant of the various processes available for resolution of such issues.
If you have a concern or are experiencing a situation which you would like to discuss with the committee or an individual member of the committee, please contact the committee chairperson.
In the past, the committee met with staff regarding the following topics:
- reclassification issues
- salary issues
- inter-office conflicts
- freedom of expression

In addition to the P & S Council Peer Advisory Committee, the University Ombuds Office may provide helpful assistance in seeking information or resolution to any of the above matters or other issues related to employment. The Ombuds Office is also a confidential service.
P&S Council also maintains a list of support
services available to Iowa State University P&S Staff.
