P&S Representation Committee

The committee organizes and implements all election activities of the Council. It publicizes the names of the successful candidates and makes popular vote counts available upon request. The committee is responsible for making recommendations of P&S staff to serve as representatives on various university-wide councils and committees.

The committee also receives and distributes reports from all-university committee representatives.

P&S Elections

P&S Elections are conducted each year in March with newly elected Council members taking office in June. Terms are for three years, and approximately one-third of the Council is chosen at each election.

Substitutes

Council members who are unable to attend meetings of the Council are encouraged to send substitutes. The Representation Committee maintains a list of P&S Staff members willing to serve as substitutes.
