Aaron Fultz (Legal Consultant, Human Development & Family Studies)

In 2016 I attended several Council meetings as a substitute, and more recently was appointed as a full member to fill a vacancy. I would like to continue my work with the Council and the Policies and Procedures committee as a fully-elected representative.

Four years ago I came to the Child Welfare Research and Training Project (CWRTP) from private law practice to serve on a contract with the Iowa Attorney General’s Office and Child Support Recovery Unit. I have had a unique opportunity to work with seasoned attorneys and dedicated agency management to improve the lives of Iowans through child support establishment and enforcement. I bring to the Council twenty years of experience advising clients, researching legal issues, and ensuring legal compliance. I can use that experience on the Council to help identify needs, make necessary and sometimes fine distinctions, and draft understandable and sensible policies for the benefit of all P&S employees while keeping in mind broader University goals and initiatives.

I ask for your vote, and invite you to contact me if you have questions or concerns about the P&S Council and university policies and procedures generally.
