Nine P&S Staff Receive "CYtations"

On Monday, Feb. 16, President Geoffroy presented nine P&S staff members with CYtation Awards. This new award, a joint project of the P&S Council and the president, recognizes staff who have performed above and beyond the call of duty or whose work has made a very real difference at Iowa State. Guidelines for Accommodating New Parents

The Board of Regents' consideration of a proposed arrival-of-children policy, supported by the P&S Council, is on hold. Vice president for academic affairs and provost Ben Allen is encouraging department chairs to work closely with employees preparing for the arrival of a child to "devise the best way to accommodate this change in the employee's life." Strategic Planning Meetings Open to Staff

Meetings of the university's new Strategic Planning Committee are open to staff. The next meeting will be Sat., Mar. 6, 2127 Gerdin Business Building, at 8:30 a.m. A list of committee members and meeting minutes are online.

Volunteers Needed for Study of Bone-Loss Treatment

P&S Constitutional Amendments Passed

P&S staff voted recently to amend the council's constitution. The changes streamline procedures for accommodating council members whose areas of representation change during their tenure (due to change of position, etc.).
