Free Admission to Reiman Gardens for
P&S Staff Ice Cream Social on April 4
Get to know your P&S Council members at an ice cream social
on April 4 from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Reiman Gardens. The P&S
Council is hosting the event to give you a chance to meet with
P&S Council members. It's also a chance to meet P&S employees
from across campus and the state. Admissions is free.
April 4 P&S Professional Development Day"Moving
Forward: Change as Opportunity"
The P&S Professional
Development Day will be held April 4 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
at the Hotel at Gateway Center in Ames. The cost is $75. The
conference includes 20 sessions that cover coffee tasting, fair
trade, entrepreneurship, parenting, retirement, language and
diversity.

Friday is the Deadline to Vote in P&S Council Election
P&S staff have until 10 p.m. Friday to vote for P&S Council
candidates. There are 17 seats to fill on P&S Council with

tab to vote. Information about the election process can be found

CYTation Award Nominations Due April 1
The P&S employee CYtation Award recognizes P&S staff
members who are extraordinary employees. This is an opportunity
for your department, college or office to recognize those individuals.

Congrats to Fall/Winter CYTation Award Winners
The fall/winter CYtation Award winners include: John Newton,
Golf Course Supervisor, Facilities, Planning and Management;
Michelle Boettcher, Hall Director, Department of Residence;
Joe Detrick, Ag Specialist IV, Animal Science; Stephen Gaul,
Assistant Scientist I, Animal Science; and Kathleen Larson,
Administrative Specialist, Center for Agricultural and Rural
Development. The next deadline for the CYtation Award nominations
