Friday Final Day to Vote on P&S Constitutional Amendments

Friday is the deadline for P&S staff to vote on amendment changes to Articles X, XV, and XVI of the Constitution of the Professional and Scientific Council of Iowa State University. To vote, log into AccessPlus, go to Employee, and select Voting:

Note From Kevin Kane, P&S Counci President:

A few P&S staff have expressed concerns about not being able to vote on the constitutional amendments individually. The problem is due to a limitation in the AccessPlus voting system. The P&S Council will work with the Provost's Office to fund changes that will allow votes in future elections to be cast on individual items on the same ballot.

Grants for P&S Staff Available for Innovative Student Recruitment and Retention Ideas

P&S employees who are involved in programs that promote student retention and recruitment may be eligible for funding from the P&S Council. The funds for the upcoming year will total $30,000. Grants from this fund will be awarded to programs that foster and promote student retention and recruitment. Grant application deadline is noon on Sept. 1. The committee will announce the funded proposals on Sept. 15. Go to
