Open Forum on Campus Climate Survey Will Be Held Oct. 14 from 3 to 5 p.m.

Results from a survey gauging the campus climate for inclusiveness of diverse groups will be presented by Susan Rankin on Thursday, Oct. 14 from 3-5 p.m. in 2050 Agronomy Hall.

Rankin, a consultant from Rankin & Associates, will present the initial results of a survey conducted in January. The survey was sent to 8,300 employees and 1,900 completed the 64-question survey. Rankin's final report is expected to include recommendations for strategies to enhance Iowa State's campus climate.

The President's Advisory Committee on Diversity will use the results to develop the campus master plan on diversity. The diversity plan also will be highlighted in Iowa State's 2005-2010 Strategic Plan.

Want to know more about changes in the benefits package effective February 1, 2005? The ISU benefits office will present information about upcoming changes at a P&S Forum in the Memorial Union Campanile Room at noon on Nov. 3. P&S employees are able to change their benefits package from Nov. 5 through Dec. 6. During this time P&S employees are allowed to make changes to their 2005 benefits package.
