Input Needed from P&S Staff on Strategic
Plan and Plan to Combine Two Colleges
The Professional and Scientific Council, as
representatives of P&S Staff at ISU, will be submitting input
to the president on two very important issues in the next two
months.
1. The Proposed 2005-2010 Strategic Plan
2. The Plan for the Combination of Colleges of Education and
Family and Consumer Sciences
Both are important to all professional
and scientific staff and we would like your input.
Combination
of Colleges of Education and Family and Consumer Sciences:
The
P&S Council will be discussing this issue and presenting
a motion for its support at the Dec. 2 council meeting. Please
send your concise comments and input regarding the proposed plan
to kkane@iastate.edu before Tuesday, Nov. 30. These comments
will be compiled and forwarded to Council members prior to the
Council motion on Dec. 2. No names will be included in the compiled
comment lists. Following the Council motion on Dec. 2, the motion
vote along with Council and individual comments will be forwarded
to the president and the Planning Committee for Combination of
Colleges of Education and Family and Consumer Sciences.

2005-2010 Strategic Plan
The P&S Council will be discussing the strategic
plan at the Dec. 2 and Jan. 6 council meetings and presenting
a motion
for its support at the Jan. 6 meeting. Please send your concise
comments and input regarding the proposed plan to kkane@iastate.edu before
Dec. 22. Comments will be compiled and forwarded to council members
prior to the motion on Jan. 6. No names will be included
in the compiled lists. Following the council motion on Jan. 6,
the motion vote along with council and individual comments will
be forwarded to the President Geoffroy and the Strategic Planning
Committee.
