P&S Council Election Filing Deadline Extended

P&S staff who are interested in seeking a seat on the P&S Council in next month's election have been given an extra week to file nomination papers. The deadline to be listed as a candidate for one of the 10 open council seats is now 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 22.

Currently, four nominations have been received for five open seats in the Academic and Research representation area, three nominations for two seats in the Extension area, three nominations for two seats in the Student Affairs area, and no nominations for one seat in the President's Office area. The other two representation areas, Business and Finance and IPRT/Ames Lab, do not have openings this year.
