2007 P&S ELECTIONS
It's time to vote for your P&S Council representative(s) for 2007. Electronic voting on AccessPlus will be open Monday, March 5, through Friday, March 23.

To use the online voting system in AccessPlus, you will need your University I.D. Number or Social Security Number and your University password. After you log in at http://accessplus.iastate.edu/, select the Employee tab in the upper right corner, and then select Votes and Surveys from the list on the left side of the page. This year's ballot requires that you select the name of each candidate that you want to vote for, and use the arrow button on the screen to move that candidate's name to the right side of the screen. After you have selected all candidates for whom you want to cast votes, click the submit button.

Council is looking to fill 17 seats with a slate that includes 25 candidates. Candidate biographies can be viewed online at http://www.pscouncil.iastate.edu/2007PSElection/candidates.html

Be sure to mark your calendars for this year’s Professional Development Day, March 15, 2007, at the Gateway Hotel & Conference Center. The theme this year is Ready, Set, Grow! Register at

Lunch is included in the registration fee. Keynote speaker this year is David Williamson, a collaborative artist who will present on visual and verbal creativity. Attendees will be welcomed by Dr. Elizabeth Hoffman, ISU Executive Vice President and Provost.

SURVEYS, SURVEYS AND MORE SURVEYS
Please take the time to complete the two major surveys being conducted right now. The P&S Staff survey, which closes on March 16, can be accessed through the emails sent out originally. The University Life survey which closes on March 9th, can be located by logging into AccessPlus, clicking on the Employee tab then clicking on Votes and Surveys.

CYTATION AWARD NOMINATIONS DUE APRIL 2ND
The P&S employee CYtation Award recognizes P&S staff members who go beyond position expectations. This is an opportunity for your department, college or office to recognize those individuals. REGENTS AWARD EXTENDED DEADLINE
The deadline for the Regents Award for Staff Excellence has been extended until Wednesday March 7, 2007! Nominations for P&S Staff (at least five years) who have shown contributions/service to ISU and beyond should be sent to the Provost Office.
