Major agenda items discussed/committee action taken:

Plans are being made to garner support for a two-prong approach to securing adequate library funding. Presentations have been made to the Faculty Senate, GSB and GPSS. Those governing bodies are considering a student library fee and a resolution supporting a central mandatory inflationary increase.

Potential impact on P&S employees:

The University Library Committee will be contacting the P&S Council about making a presentation to the council in hopes of gaining its support of the two proposals to address the library’s funding crisis.
