Major agenda items discussed/committee
action taken:
- Childcare Committee will continue Green Ribbon campaign.
- ISU Dining was awarded the contract.
- S/C Council being asked to endorse GSB Principles of Community. They
would like to see P&S Council’s endorsement as a
guide for what to write.
- Transportation Advisory Committee has identified 6 crosswalks
and is working with engineers to make them safe quickly.
- There are no nominees at this time for the Board of Regents
S/C award. Deadline is Feb. 27.
- Two ombuds position are in the works – one for faculty
and one for P&S and S/C staff
- New online system in the works for PIQ & PDQ. Those
that work with that may need training.
- Goal of Policy Library is to be a single source for policies,
where people know where to find them, and they can be consistently
applied. P&S Handbook will be “going away” and
those policies will be absorbed into the Policy Library.
- New University policy – ISU will soon begin driver’s
license checks if using a University vehicle OR personal vehicle.
