on your calendars. Come spend Valentine's Day with us!
Call for Proposals - Submission
Deadline September 29, 2017
The Professional and Scientific Council is seeking
presenters for the 2018 Professional Development Conference. The
conference focuses on the professional development of
professional and scientific employees in the areas of leadership,
health and wellness, professional resources, and human
interactions. If you have a topic you think P&S employees
will benefit from learning about and want to share your
expertise, please consider being a presenter at our 2018
conference.
We are asking all individuals who are interested
in presenting to complete this
online form by Sept. 29, 2017. The conference
committee will review all submissions and make final selections.

Council Seminar Series Events
The Professional and Scientific Council
Professional Development Committee requests that you mark your
calendars now for our upcoming 2017-2018 Council Seminar Series
Events!
Beginning September 12, the Council Seminar
Series events will be held on the second Tuesday of
each month (except for April, when it will be the third
Tuesday of the month) from 2-3 p.m. in the Pioneer Room of the
Memorial Union. A complete schedule can be found on our website.

Board of Regents Tuition Task Force Listening
Session - Tomorrow
Iowa State University is presenting
its five-year tuition proposal to the Board of Regents Tuition Task Force
on Wednesday, Aug. 9 (tomorrow), at 10:30 a.m. in 240 Scheman. A
listening session will follow, during
which you may address the task force. Members of the Professional
and Scientific Council will attend to represent ISU's 3000+
P&S employees. You are encouraged to attend, or you may submit
comments via the Board of Regents website.
