In this workshop,
Stephanie Downs, ISU WellBeing Coordinator, will introduce the new
Adventure2 online platform for well being that is launching on
Wednesday, Sept. 6.
We will explore the new
platform and demo some of the tools, resources and programming that
support all aspects of your well being. Bring your own device,
log in and explore with us!
The workshop will
include a discussion about self care as a component of personal
leadership and bringing your best self to work and life every day.
ISU WellBeing is
excited to provide this session in which we will explore this fun,
interactive and engaging tool designed to connect ISU employees
across the university and to create conditions where well being can
thrive.
This session will be live streamed and
can be viewed using guest access to the Adobe Connect Session.
The recorded session will be posted on the
Professional and Scientific Council website and in Learn@ISU, along with previous session
recordings, approximately one week after the live session.

The Professional and
Scientific Council is happy to announce Cultivate Your Adventure,
your 2018 Professional Development Conference. Put Feb. 14, 2018, on
your calendars and come spend Valentine's Day with us!
Call for
Proposals - Deadline Sept. 29, 2017
Do you have expertise
to share at the conference? Do you have someone you want to hear
from? We are looking for presenters! Please complete this online form or share it with a note suggesting that a
potential speaker consider submitting a proposal. The
conference committee will review all submissions received by Sept.
29, 2017, and make final selections.

Have questions about
the P&S Classification and Compensation
review? Take advantage of two opportunities to find our more about
the process and ask questions.
Sept. 19 - 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Human Resources Classification and Compensation is hosting an
information session about the Classification and Compensation
Review. The project timeline, status update and what to expect
moving forward will be discussed. The meeting will also be
available via Zoom if you can't attend in person. More information
about this session will be available in Inside Iowa State.
Oct. 10 - 2 to 3 p.m. - Pioneer Room,
Memorial Union
The
Professional and Scientific Council will host an open forum about the
review as part of our monthly council seminar series. University
Human Resources Classification and Compensation will present and this
will be your opportunity to ask questions about the review and
process. The session will be live streamed and recorded. Individuals
or groups who participate via the live stream can submit their
questions in the Adobe Connect chat window. All questions
submitted via the live stream will be asked live as part of the
