Requests for session proposals is now open! If you have a topic you think P&S employees will benefit from learning about and want to share your expertise, please consider being a presenter at our Innovate 2024 Conference!  All individuals who are interested in presenting, or would like to recommend a presenter, will need to complete this online form by November 3, 2023.

We are getting ready for our 2nd annual S.H.O.P. food drive.  Please get in touch with Sarah Larkin if you want to be a drop-off point for donations this year. We will have new goals for donations (including monetary)! The food drive will start on November 1st and end on December 1st.

Seminar Series events can be pre-registered in Workday Learning.  Seminar Series virtual events can be attended through Workday Learning.  Instructions on how to register for these events can be found here.  Don't hesitate to contact the Professional Development Committee with any questions.

The Executive Council compiled a draft of P&S Council's strategic inititaves for 2020-21. They will be posted after being passed by a full council vote.

"Ouch! That Stereotype Hurts," is the latest Professional & Scientific Council Seminar Series event to be made available on Learn@ISU. It was recorded at the 2020 Professional and Scientific Council Professional Development Conference February 13. It is presented by Malisa Rader, Human Sciences Specialist in Family Life, ISU Extension and Outreach.

Congratulations to the 18 individuals and three employee teams who have received 2019 CYtation Awards from Professional and Scientific Council! You can find the full list of honorees on the Awards page of this web site. Due to COVID-19 precautions, the CYtation awards ceremony was rescheduled from its usual March date. It will be held September 3 at the ISU Alumni Center.

Voting for open Professional and Scientific Council seats is now being held through 5 p.m. April 14. Help choose those who will represent you on council! Vote!

A two-phased implementation of the classification and compensation restructuring for Professional and Scientific employees has been approved and should conclude by May 31. The Professional and Scientific Council April Seminar Series event April 14 will feature Emma Houghton, Director of University Compensation and Classification, reviewing the implementation.
