Hello! I am Ritushree Chatterjee. I have a Bachelors degree in Chemistry from University of Delhi, India, a Masters in Environmental Science (2008) and a Masters in Education specializing in Curriculum and Instructional Technology (2015). Both of my Masters degrees are from Iowa State University. I have been in Ames since 2005 and have been associated with the University as a Graduate Student and a Full-time staff thereafter.

Currently, I work as an Instructional Designer at Engineering-LAS Online Learning collaborating with Faculty in developing and designing engaging asynchronous and blended courses. It gives me immense pleasure to see the direct impact of my work on the learning experiences of the students and motivates me to keep making a difference in the student community in my humble way. My work gives me an insight into the challenges that both Faculty and students face in their respective journies.

To know and learn more about other units on Campus, the drive to contribute to change wherever it is happening and getting an opportunity to be a part of it, for both personal growth and professional enhancement, and contributing to diversity and representation in the P and S council - all of these factors motivate me to nominate myself to serve on the Professional and Scientific Council. I hope to get an opportunity to be on the Council, share my experiences and expertise, and make a positive contribution to the community.
