I am re-running to be elected to P&S Council after serving my 1st 1-year term as a Professional & Scientific council member. I have been employed at ISU, within the Office of Student Financial Aid, since October 2014.

Prior to my role at ISU, I served at a community college and also as a teacher. I completed my Master of Education degree with a concentration in higher education administration through LSU online in August of 2018 and am looking to continue my learning and understanding of higher education management and programs through involvement of opportunities such as P&S Council. I am passionate about serving students and my core values as a professional are centered on student success.

As a Professional & Scientific council member, I enjoy being able to represent my fellow P&S employees. This opportunity has allowed me to make connections with fellow staff campus-wide and also to learn more about the university as a whole. I believe that this is important not only for myself, but as a representative of P&S Council employees, and as a financial aid adviser. The connections I have made thus far through council have allowed me to better serve the students I work with and help connect them to other campus resources/fellow council members, which has been an invaluable piece to my experience. I hope that you consider me for re-election to council.
