Liz Luiken, Student Conduct
I have been at Iowa State since December 2016 as an Assistant Director in the Office of Student Conduct. Within student conduct, I am responsible for working directly with students who are alleged to have violated University policy. Additionally, I provide outreach and education to campus through classroom presentations, marketing efforts, and our Know the Code campaign. While at Iowa State, I have been a part of numerous committees and teams including the Student Affairs United Way initiatives, Graduate Assistant Training and Recognition teams, the policy revision team for the Sexual Misconduct Policy, and SAFE-T.
I am excited about the opportunity to serve on the Professional & Scientific Council. Since being at Iowa State, I have often looked to P&S Council representatives for advice or to give feedback and look forward to serving as a resource and advocate for my colleagues. I believe my experience working on a variety of teams, working with policy/procedure, and time at Iowa State will allow me to serve professional and scientific staff well.
