Come join us at the ISU Planetarium this October for a spooky Halloween-themed show about some of the Deadliest Places in the Universe! Explore a planet being scorched by its star, a doomed world bombarded by radiation from its stellar corpse, and more. If you think your local haunted house is scary, just wait until you find out what happens if you get too close to a black hole!

In this workshop, we will explore possible responses to conflict and the contexts in which the various responses make the most sense. We will explore how to engage with people who appear to be occupying an alternate reality. We will also discuss how the biology of our brain can get us into trouble despite our best intentions.

Jack Trice Stadium is the home of the Iowa State University Cyclones football team. Originally built in 1975, the stadium was eventually renamed after decades of student-led efforts to honor the first African American athlete in Iowa State's history. With a capacity of 61,500, it is the third-largest stadium in the Big 12. Its natural grass playing surface has won numerous awards and is widely recognized as one of the nation’s best fields.

Jack Trice Stadium offers a good tour experience and shows participants several premium areas of the stadium not often seen by the public.

Discover the charm and legacy of The Knoll during an exclusive tour for Professional and Scientific Employees on November 4. Built in 1901, The Knoll’s role as a hosting venue for the Iowa State University president has made it part of the campus landscape for more that 125 years. Join us for a guided tour through the space, learning about the history of the facility and viewing the pieces displayed in the venue from the University Museums art on campus collection.
